After what was one of arguably the best events ever held in Australian RC Racing with the recently held Australian Championships, it was always going to be tough to back up after such an event and many chose to have some R&R or race elsewhere, so entries were low but with 57 keen participants still wanting to hit the track today, Sunday 20th October.
2wd Stock
With the largest field for the meeting, 22 drivers were lead in the first round of qualifying by usual a Modified driver, Hugo Tsang (10 laps/5:26.854), from Glenn Welch (9 laps/5:01.097). Mark Doyle rounded out the top 3 for the round (9 laps/5:05.502).
Hugo Tsang took the win for the round and overall TQ honours (10 laps/5:23.824). Glenn Welch took second for the round not far behind (10 laps/5:25.006). Mark Doyle took third in the round (9 laps/5:01.652).
Hugo Tsang took a dominate victory with wins in all three finals. Glenn Welch finished second overall with 3rd,2nd & 10th places, with Jim Koimanis coming home in third with 7th, 3rd& 2nd place finishes in the finals.

7 entries arrived to be lead by hotshot Lachlan Donnelly in round 1 setting a blistering pace for all to chase (10 laps/5:02.605). Lachlan Williams finished second for the round (10 laps/5:28.473), and Jon McMillin was third (9 laps/5:04.381).
Lachlan Donnelly again set a very hot pace over the field to top the timesheets and take overall TQ (10 laps/5:02.035). Lachan Williams finished second for the round (10 laps/5:25.641). David Ryan finished third for the round (9 laps/5:07.641).
It was Lachlan Donnelly whom continued his form of the day, destroying the field with a dominate display winning all three final wins. Lachlan Williams finished a convincing second with three second place finishes in the finals. Jon McMillin finished the day in third with 3rd, 3rd & 6th place finishes across the finals.

16 entries ran with Jonathan Goodwill showing the rest a clean set of heels in a tight round of qualifying (10 laps/5:12.859). Glenn Welch followed closely in second (10 laps/5:13.770), from Michael Martinez in third (10 laps/5:18.450).
Glenn Welch went fastest in round 2 and overall TQ (10 laps/5:09.383), from Jonathan Goodwill in second (10 laps/5:13.889), and Jim Koimanis in third for the round (10 laps/5:16.248).
Glenn Welch took the win on the day with 1st, 1st & 8th place finishes. Jim Koimanis came in second with 3rd, 5th & 1st places. Jonathan Goodwill finished third overall with 5th, 2nd & 2nd place results in the three finals..

8 entries came to play in the fastest cars of the day, including our own recently crowned Australian Champion Lachlan Donnelly. But it was the local young charger Brian Louw who came out swinging, setting the fastest time for the round in a very close battle. (10 laps/5:05.009). Lachlan Williams was second (10 laps/5:06.409), and Lachlan Donnelly third (10 laps/5:07.416).
Lachlan Williams topped round 2 and set overall TQ (10 laps/5:01.286). Lachlan Donnelly was second (10 laps/5:02.110), and Michael Fretin was third (10 laps/5:14.979).
Lachlan Williams almost had a clean sweep to win the day with 1st, 1st & 2nd places across the three finals. Peter Seckold ran second with 3rd, 3rd & 1st places. With the champ Lachlan Donnelly taking out third place with 2nd, 2nd and 3rd in each of the finals.

4 entries showed up to have some truckin fun with Howard Crooks setting the fastest time for round 1 and the day to take TQ (9 laps/5:25.390). Andrew Kerek was second (7 laps/5:02.702), and Callan Rockall third (7 laps/5:40.599).
Howard Crooks topped round 2 (9 laps/5:31.983). Andrew Kerek was second (8 laps/5:28.932), and Callan Rockall was third (8 laps/5:41.208).
Howard Crooks came away with the win running 4th, 1st & 1st in the three finals. Andrew Kerek finished second with 1st, 2nd & 2nd, and Callan Rockall coming in third with 2nd, 3rd & 3rd place finishes.
