Sunday 16th March club meeting was held being the last race meeting prior to the Pre-World warm-up event with 64 entries attending.
Novice/Rung What You Brung
With only 6 entries in total the Novice and RWYB classes were combined to ensure all entrants got a run with Simon Shaw taking the TQ after qualifying.
Simon Shaw went on to take the overall win with two 1st places for the two finals run. Lily McKendry came away with second after two 2nd place finishes. Husayn Omar came home in third with two 3rd place finishes.

With the largest field for the event, 19 drivers were shown the way with Glenn Welch taking TQ for the finals.
However, it was Scott Hill taking three wins in dominate fashion across the finals to win the day. Glen Welch finished second with three 2nd places. Bradley Chuter put together a third place with three 3rd places across the finals.

With 12 entries mainly focused on track time prior to the upcoming World’s Warm-up event. It was Ari Bakla laying down TQ runs to start the finals ahead of the rest.
Ari Bakla took the win with 1st, 1st & 2nd place finishes across the finals. Lachlan Donnelly took second place with 4th, 2nd & 1st places. Matthew Couper came in third with 2nd, 3rd & 4th places across the finals.

With 14 entries running on the day, Scott Hill put together TQ runs for the best starting place of the stock runners.
Scott Hill then went on to take win with 1st, 1st & 2nd places in the finals. Tony Smith came in second with 3rd, 3rd & 1st place finishes. Glenn Welch was third with 2nd, 2nd & 7th places.

Only 13 entries came to play in the lead up to the upcoming World’s Warm-up with Ari Bakla taking the TQ spot after qualifying.
The finals were hotly contested with Ari Bakla taking the win with 1st, 1st & 2nd places. Matthew Couper took second with 6th, 3rd & 1st places. Jarod Ment finished third with 5th, 2nd & 3rd places across the finals.

Our next race day is scheduled for Friday 4th to Sunday 6th April being the Pre-Worlds Warm-up event. With some high profile international racers attending, it is sure to be a race meeting to remember. The next club meeting is scheduled for 20th April 2025.
