Sunday 2nd February club meeting was Round 1 of the 2025 Hills Offroad RC Club Championship. With 79 entries attending the first race meeting of 2025 on a glorious summers day.
Novice/Rung What You Brung
10 entries rolled up for some action with Blair Wallace taking the TQ after qualifying.
Simon Shaw went on to take the overall win with 1st, 1st & 2nd places. Rondy Chan came away with second after finishes of 2nd, 2nd & 1st across the finals. Blair Wallace came home in third with 3rd, 3rd & 4th place finishes.

With the largest field for the event, 30 drivers were shown the way with Glenn Welch taking TQ for the finals.
Glenn Welch went on to take the win on the day with 1st, 1st & 10th place finishes. Hugo Tsang finished second with 4th, 3rd & 1st places. Chris Milton put together a third place with 2nd, 2nd & 5th places in the finals.

With 10 very keen entries, it was Lachlan Donnelly laying down TQ runs to start the finals ahead of the rest.
Lachlan Donnelly took the win with 1st, 2nd & 1st place finishes across the finals. Matthew Couper took second place with 3rd, 1st & 3rd places. Jarod Ment came in third with 2nd, 3rd & 2nd places across the finals.

With 19 entries running on the day, Hugo Tsang put together a TQ run for the best starting place of the stock runners.
Hugo Tsang then went on to take 1st, 1st & 2nd places in the finals and take the rounds Grand Slam (Win, TQ & Fastest Lap). Scott Hill came in second with 3rd, 4th & 1st place finishes. Bradley Chuter was third with 2nd, 10th & 3rd places.

Only 10 entries came to play with Matthew Couper taking the TQ spot after qualifying.
The finals were hotly contested with three different winners across the finals. Matthew Couper went on to take 1st, 9th & 2nd places across the finals and take the round’s Grand Slam (Win, TQ & Fastest Lap). Jarod Ment took second with 2nd, 2nd & 1st places. Lachlan Donnelly finished third with 3rd, 1st & 3rd places.
